At MCV Law, we understand that when you’ve been injured in an accident, you’re going to have a lot of questions about what happens next. We also understand that you’re going to want to talk to an attorney to get some immediate answers to your questions. That’s why every personal injury intake at MCV Law is handled by an attorney. As the intake specialist for our Personal Injury team, I know that each accident is unique and I want to hear your story myself. I know that your recollection of the accident and what happened to you is most accurate in those first few hours or days after the accident. That’s why it’s important for you to contact us as soon as possible after your accident. I know that it’s scary to go through the trauma of an accident, to be injured, and on top of all of that… to not be sure of what to do next.
Here are two things you can do right away to help your case from day one…
-Take pictures! Pictures of your car, the scene of the accident or the area where you slipped and fell are very helpful. Pictures of your injuries help document all of the injuries, big and small, for your case.
-Also, keep receipts for any out of pocket expenses; things like parking at the hospital, or maybe you had to take a cab to your doctor because you couldn’t drive, or you had to hire someone to mow your lawn because you couldn’t do that due to your injuries. These expenses add up and can document the overall impact that the accident has had on your life.
Plus, you might be able to be reimbursed for these expenses.
So please, if you’ve been hurt in an accident, call me and let MCV Law help you get your life back.
