Having spent more than a decade handling complex Workers’ Compensation matters, attorney Cory DeCresenza brings valuable insight and experience to every case. Before joining MCV Law, Cory represented employers and insurance carriers, giving him a deep understanding of how claims are evaluated and defended — knowledge he now uses to advocate for injured workers.
Cory earned his degree, magna cum laude, from the Syracuse University College of Law, where he served on the Syracuse Law Review. He graduated summa cum laude from Dickinson College with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy.
A contributor to legal publications including Law360 and the New York Law Journal, Cory has written on developments in Workers’ Compensation law and appellate decisions impacting injured workers across New York State. He has also argued before all levels of the New York State court system, including at the Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department and the Court of Appeals.
A Manlius resident, Cory enjoys writing, hockey, film, and new cooking challenges.
